Vaulted ceilings in the foyer and great room create a sense of spaciousness in what is actually a fairly compact cottage house plan. The recreation room was finished with bamboo wood flooring, full service bar, and gas fireplace. The gourmet kitchen has cherry cabinetry and a temperature controlled wine cellar. There is also a formal dining room and den. The owners’ suite features a double sided fireplace, ceiling details, steam shower, and large walk-in closet. This home was finished with wrought iron railings, barrel vault and other ceiling details, recess niche’s, hardwood flooring, built-ins, special lighting, and complex structured wiring and audio. Outside, the home features a built in BBQ area complete with sink, trimmed with rock work, wonderful for those special summer gatherings.

With the need to build on in-fill lots, and higher density neighborhoods growing, so is the desire to find a plan that will fit on a narrow lot. On our house plans, narrow lot is defined by no more than 40′ wide on a house less than 2000 square feet, no more than 50′ wide on a house between 2000 - 2999 square feet, and no more than 60′ wide on a house between 3000 - 4999 square feet.
