A bright and spacious vaulted great room sits at the core of this midsize Craftsman cottage. A good view of the great room’s gas fireplace can be had while seated at the raised, gently curved eating bar that marks the kitchen/dining area boundary. The owners’ suite boasts a deep walk-in closet and large bathroom, plus direct access to the patio.

Nostalgic shake-textured siding fronts the garage gable of this Craftsman cottage update. The dining room sits at the heart of the large interconnected gathering space at the rear. A family room with fireplace is to the right, and a generously sized kitchen is to the left. Three bedrooms and a bonus room are upstairs, and a guest suite is below.

The Longview plan is a recently released design that has climbed to the top of the best selling list for October. This shingle-style beach house features a covered patio that wraps around two sides of the home, a great room, mud room, and a luxurious owners’ suite. The Longview is a modification of our Cedar View plan designed by Tim Thompson, a member of Associated Designs staff.
The featured photographs are of the basement version of our Eddinger hexagonal house plan. “We love our new home. The pics don’t begin to tell how much.”

We received these photographs showing the construction process of our Eagleton log cabin home plan. This spacious contemporary log cabin plan is designed as a vacation retreat, but has all the amenities needed for year-round living. Sparkling windows, stacked three high, fill most of the prow-shaped, A-frame front wall. Its well-organized kitchen has a cook-top work island and is open to the vaulted great room.

A full porch spans the entire front façade of this country-style house plan, which is totally symmetrical except for the chimney. Its large kitchen is open to the nook and a family room with a woodstove. The luxurious owners’ suite upstairs has a gas fireplace. A large bonus room is over the garage, along with a deep storage room.
We were pleased to receive this photo of our Craftsman-style Eddinger house plan in the final stages of construction. The client used our modification services and worked with our designers to customize this home for them. “Everyone loves the design, especially the easy access to the wrap-around deck from all of the rooms”.
Designed to take in the view from just about every room of the home, our hexagonal style house plans are our most popular. Did you know that we have almost 30 hexagonal style plans to choose from? You’ll find this design in everything from log cabin form to Southwestern Contemporary, and from 1390 square feet to just under 4000 square feet. All of our plans can be customized with our modification services.
For submitting the photograph, they were entered into our January drawing for a $200 rebate on the construction drawing package. If you have any photographs of any of our designs completed or showing the course of construction, send them in!

Craftsman detailing lends its distinctive appearance to this compact and charming home, designed to fit neatly on a fairly narrow city lot. Inside, family and friends will appreciate the bright and large informal gathering space, where the living room, dining room and kitchen flow together. The well-appointed owners’ suite is in a separate wing.
