What’s New?

Photos! The response to our request for photos of completed designs has been good. You’ll begin to see some of the artwork on our site replaced with photos. Photo’s showing designs under construction and such can also be viewed on the home plan blog. Do you have photos of one of our designs constructed? Email them to to blog@associateddesigns.com and you’ll be entered into a January drawing for a $200 rebate on your construction drawing package.

We invite you to tour through the completed Arborgate house plan constructed by Weston Booher of Booher Builders. This home sits in a beautiful scenic valley just outside of Springfield, Oregon. We’re thrilled that our clients wanted to share their beautiful home.

The Camas plan under construction, featured on the blog, is now in the finishing stages. Trim work, doors, cabinets, and painting. We’ll have new photos coming as soon as the paint dries! Everything is on track for the clients to move in by the end of this month!

The results are in! The Heartville is Associated Designs 2009 Home from the Heart Survey plan. This year ranch-style reigned. Green building features with advanced insulation also topped the list. Great rooms favored over formal living spaces. The desire for fireplaces and woodstoves continue to decline, close to 100% from the results 10 years ago. We appreciate everyone who participated in this annual tradition.

As mentioned last month, we are privileged to profile the construction of the Camas design. This is the first home for our clients who are really enjoying the process and working with their contractor from Gansen Construction. Each week we post photographs of the progress made on the home plan blog, and the home is going up fast!

Find a house plan that’s close, but need a few changes made? That’s no problem! We provide free modification quotes. The process is easy too. Either call, email, or mail us with your ideas and/or sketches and speak with one of our designers. They’ll discuss and review your changes, and provide you with a firm quote and time frame to complete the project. We are very pleased to have our first blog post following the course of construction of one of our house plans. A modified version of the Camas design is under construction in the near by community of Junction City by Gansen Construction. This project received permit just last week and building has begun. Watch this home progress, from start to finish!

This months featured plan the Glenview, has photos of the completed design on the home plan blog too. This home was built on the beautiful Oregon coast.
