The Camas house plan is complete! The happy couple moved into their Craftsman stylehome over the 4th of July holiday. “We really enjoyed the construction process and making this a home for us with our own personal touches. The crew from Gansen Construction were both professional and fun”, said Mrs. C.

The couple modified the original design to accommodate the lot, trim construction costs, and accommodate their living style. Changes included a full mirror reverse, adding french doors in the foyer accessing the bedroom which will be used as a music room, modifying the owners’ suite bathroom and walk-in closet area, and pulled the front of the house forward and straightened out the rear wall of the house. The new spin-off version of this design will soon be released as the Dogwood.

Construction of Camas House Plan by Gansen Construction
The construction of the Camas plan by Gansen Construction for our clients Mr. & Mrs. C is moving along quite nicely. This week the foundation was poured and floor joists set. Framing is about to begin and trusses are scheduled for delivery April 23rd.
We are very excited to have our first blog post following the construction of one of our house plans.
Builder, Mike Gansen of Gansen Construction, and his clients are building a modified version of the Camas house plan in a subdivision in the near by city of Junction City. Construction is set to begin in just a few short weeks.
Mr. & Mrs. C will be able to share their building experience and photographs through this blog post. Friends in Rhode Island and family in California and Arizona will be able to follow the progress and even post a thought or two through their process. We hope this is the first of many interactive construction projects to be featured on our blog.
As an established and respected builder in Lane County Oregon, Mike Gansen has constructed many of our house plans, and has shared photographs of a few of his completed projects (Ridgeview & Westdale) which have been featured on our blog. We have enjoyed working with Mike and his clients over the years.
